TIAG is now hiring a System Integration Engineer to join our team supporting our Naval Information Warfare Command (NIWC) customer out of Quantico, VA. For this program TIAG provides a range of cyber security, Information Technology (IT) engineering services support, assessment and authorization (A&A), and cyber operations support including support for life-cycle management policy, guidance, oversight, and direction for a cyber analytics system. An active Top Secret clearance is required to start work. This position reports onsite at our client location 1-2 days/week at a minimum and remaining workdays will be remote and/or at our local office facility. Ability to travel as needed.Position Responsibilities
- Installation, deployment and maintenance of Windows and RHEL enterprise solutions/software
- Configuration and hardening of core enclave services including DNS, DHCP, SAN, SQL Databases, Active Directory and Group Policy
- Deployment of services and tools within a VMware based virtual architecture
- Provisioning and deployment of workstation images for use in a Virtual Desktop infrastructure
- Troubleshooting of systems at the OS and application level
- Configuration of system security and logging solutions
- Schedule, perform, and monitor system backups, and when necessary, perform data recovery operations
- Provide and/or review technical documents, respond to action items, analyze and recommend technical solutions for systems at scale
Required Experience
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or B.A. in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering or similar preferred
- 4 years of relevant experience performing system administration in enterprise environments (Windows, RHEL, SUSE Linux, VMware)
- Minimum certification as IAT Level II per DoD 8570.01, or successor
- Experience with IA / INFOSEC concepts and requirements: Firewall Policy, Ports & Protocols, Cybersecurity, Cybersafe, DoD A&A processes and standards
- Experience with the Defense Information Systems Agency published Security Technical Information Guidance (STIG) requirements and compliance process
- Ability to manage time well to meet assigned milestones
- A meticulous eye for detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
