Rapidly growing Management Consulting firm is seeking a Senior Associate!
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparing and reviewing various tax returns, assisting clients with tax planning and strategies, conducting tax research, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards for a wide-ranging portfolio of commercial clients and individuals.
- Prepare multistate income allocations for businesses and individuals
- Prepare and review corporate, partnership, estate, and individual tax returns
- Provide expert guidance to clients on tax-efficient practices and strategies, helping them to optimize their financial outcomes and plan for future tax obligations.
- Calculate and allocate income across multiple states, taking into account the specific tax requirements and regulations of each jurisdiction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years with tax preparation experience in private companies, high net-worth individuals or trusts within a CPA firm.
- 2+ years' of experience of professional tax experience
- CPA is preferred
- Well versed in tax for individuals and all entity types (e.g., corporate, partnership, estate, non-profit, foreign)
- Strong communication and analytical skills
