Job Description
* - Prepare complex federal and state income tax returns for both individuals and businesses, including partnerships, s-corps, c-corps, estates, trust and gift tax returns
* - Prepare quarterly and year-end tax estimates for clients
* - Interact closely with CEO's and their teams
* - Research various tax planning opportunities
* - Respond to IRS notices
* - Manage client accounts/engagements
* - Assist with bookkeeping using QuickBooks online
* - Assist with building spreadsheets and templates to streamline processes
* - Assist the team with improving processes and efficiency
* - Provide staff with training and mentoring
Job Requirements
* - Bachelor's degree in accounting
* - Required to be a CPA or EA
* - 6-20 years of experience in public accounting
* - 5+ years of tax advisory experience, working closely with clients
* - Knowledge of federal & state laws
* - Proficient with US GAAP and tax compliance
* - Strong research skills
* - Strong ability to manage client accounts
* - Commercial real estate experience a huge plus
* - Must be proficient in all Microsoft applications; strong excel skills a plus
* - Must be proficient with CCH Prosystem or Axcess suites

Pay Range: $100,000-$125,000/Yearly with Benefits
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
