Our client is a public accounting firm. They are looking for a Senior Tax Director to join our Melville, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Lead as direct contact to client and manage all aspects of client accounts
- Produce effective consulting, planning and compliance for your clients
- Document tax issues and identify areas of opportunity and improvement
- Research accuracy of tax returns and minimize tax liability for your clients
- Grow client base and supports business development activities
- Manage timeliness and completeness of projects
- Supervise, train and mentor staff and provide coaching on their chosen career path
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred
- 2+ years of tax accounting experience
- Public, private or combo background
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of office required
- Knowledge of Prox, Caseware, and Go File Room is preferred
- CPA certification preferred
