How you can make a bigger difference:The Kaplan House (Manhattan) provides therapeutic and support services to adolescents ages 17-21 who are referred to us through ACS and the Juvenile Justice system. Our residents have experienced significant trauma, resulting in behavioral, emotional, and functional/development issues. Kaplan House offers an extensive independent living skills program, including vocational preparation and educational services that assist youth towards reaching independence.
The Senior Team Leader is a vital part of the Milieu Team. The Senior Team Leader at Kaplan House supervises the Direct Support Professional. The Senior Team Leader is the functional supervisor of the program and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the facility. Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
