Insight Global is seeking a Senior Application developer to join one of our investment management clients. This individual will be reporting directly into the CTO. They are responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise on development projects of all sizes, utilizing formal software development and project management methodologies. This includes, but is not limited to, performing application software developments for system enhancements across a variety of technology platforms. They will cultivate and maintain relationships between the IT Department as well as internal clients and directly support various business need applications. They will be conducting compatibility testing between various applications and upgrades/patches. Additionally, this individual will be hiring and training App Dev team members. They must have strong interpersonal skills and experience supporting employees at the highest organizational levels. Strong interpersonal skills. BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent experience. Previous experience working in Private Equity, Investment Management, Asset Management. 7+ years in Financial Services with experience supporting traders, portfolio administrators, analysts, and financial accountants. Proficient background with programming language (Python, C++, C#, Java). 8+ years of hands-on experience with a relational database (MSSQL preferred). Experienced with Cloud-based platforms (Azure, Google, AWS). Recent experience as software team lead or manager. Experience resolving issues related to packaged and customized software.
