Our Function The Application Development team is responsible for providing technical solutions to the firm using a combination of vendor and proprietary solutions to meet various business and functional needs.The department consists of individuals with varying skills including programming, data and technical analysts, testing, and architecture specialists.The department is organized into verticals (teams) which are focused on specific Jennison departments and their unique needs.The Equity Trading and Compliance, Finance vertical is responsible for providing services that support our Equity investment processes, regulatory reporting, investment and financial accounting, as well as various corporate functions (Finance, Risk, Legal, ISO,HR, etc.). Your Impact The senior technical business analyst/manager role is responsible for the analyzing and modeling new and existing business processes. As a Senior Tech BA, the individual is expected to be a subject matter expert (SME) across key applications, application domains, and perform job responsibilities including documenting functional changes, software testing, and SME application support.As a Senior Tech Manager within the department, the individual is expected to take on lead roles across the department (i.e. cross vertical), develop/maintain relationships with their respective clients and champion their interests in planning sessions, and may have supervisory/training responsibilities for members of the team. This role may also have a dual reporting relationship to technology and business unit/functional management.Please refer to the Your Required Skills section below for the area of responsibility being sought. Your Required Skills Your required skills must include:
- BS / BA degree in Business Administration (Accounting or Finance), or Information Technology; advanced degree a plus, financial industry certifications a plus.
- 15+ years of proven technical business analysis experience in Asset Management or related industry.
- 5+ years supporting investment compliance activities (e.g. Pre/Post trade guideline enforcement; Regulatory reporting - OFAC/FinCEN, 13F/13G, Form ADV, etc.; Employee monitoring)
- Must have experience using/supporting a 3rd party Equity OMS platform.
- Must be comfortable collaborating with Portfolio Managers, Traders, and Compliance officers to discuss issues, solicit requirements, and review technical solutions.
- Experience with SQL and/or navigating databases via query tool is required.
- Experience with business process reengineering.
- Multiple experiences implementing investment related systems such as an order management system, investment accounting system, or a regulatory/compliance system.
- Experience writing specifications, e.g., business requirements, functional requirements, etc. that are clear, concise, and well organized.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication, collaboration and partnering skills.
- Experience writing and executing test plans.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and shift priorities as needed.
- Must be comfortable working directly with the business users to address production issues and complete project related work.
- Knowledge of technology and software development lifecycle is required.

Our hybrid work model provides employees with the flexibility to work remotely 2 days a week. The base salary range for this role is $185,000 - $225,000. Individual salaries for this role may vary based on various factors including but not limited to, years of experience, range in corporate level, candidate skills, and geographic location. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including but not limited to, individual and organizational performance.
