As a Senior Technical Business Development Manager, you will play a vital role in the initial business and market development of new AWS services focused on sustainability. Your experience in launching industry software and services will be invaluable as you drive early market development efforts for groundbreaking offerings. You will facilitate partnerships with key customers and identify new market opportunities, shaping the trajectory of our category.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales and deliver services to a wide range of global customers.
  • Expand relationships with AWS Industry Product service partners and strategic ISVs.
  • Achieve revenue growth and enhance service adoption while reporting performance to AWS executives.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for targeted segments.
  • Engage effectively with internal leadership and external clients at the executive level.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams across Sales, Business Development, Sustainability, Solutions Architecture, Product, Finance, and Marketing.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in business development, strategic partnerships, or B2B sales.
  • 5+ years in technology sales, specializing in industry software, hardware, or services.
  • 3+ years in sustainability-related roles, such as consulting or program development.
  • Demonstrated experience in GTM strategies and business development.
  • Proficient in negotiating and executing business agreements.
  • Able to influence organizational-level leadership strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling to major corporations, including Fortune 1000 or Global 2000.
  • Master's degree in sustainability, business, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to influence product strategy and implementation.
  • Experience in founding or leading business units.

The compensation for this role varies based on geographical market, ranging from $133,200 to $220,200 per year, depending on experience, skills, and other factors. Amazon offers a comprehensive compensation package, including equity, sign-on bonuses, and a range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
