We are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior Technical Buyer to join our team and help us maintain excellence in sourcing and supply chain management. Position Summary: The Senior Technical Buyer will be responsible for sourcing and procuring mechanical and electrical components to support the assembly of our high-quality products. This role will involve managing relationships with both foreign and domestic suppliers to ensure quality, on-time delivery, and competitive pricing of raw materials and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchasing within a manufacturing or assembly environment and experience working with ERP systems, Macola Core ERP preferred. Requirements: Key Responsibilities: Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery performance. Manage procurement of materials, tools, equipment, and services to support production. Maintain accurate inventory levels and lead physical inventory initiatives. Oversee ERP system data, item setup, and vendor quality management. Collaborate with accounting to approve and reconcile supplier invoices. Review and adjust bills of material for finished products and subassemblies. Approve and manage engineering changes and requests. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering or related field preferred. 3-5 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment. Experience with machining, casting, extrusion, and injection molding. Proficient in ERP systems (Macola Core ERP experience preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications. PI06787c8d4898-25448-#######8
