Sr. Technical Project Manager Job SummaryThe ideal candidate will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technical projects on time and within budget. The Sr. Technical Project Manager will play a key role in defining technical project requirements, timing and deliverables, while ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and our clients, you will ensure the successful execution of technical projects, meeting client expectations and driving digital transformation. Your expertise in technical project management, technical acumen, and leadership skills will be instrumental in delivering high-quality solutions and fostering innovation within our organization.
Responsibilities - Lead and manage technical projects from initiation to completion.
- Liaison for the D&T team and collaborate with cross-functional team to ensure smooth project execution, aligning technical requirements with client objectives.
- Drives the gathering, definition, and documentation of technical project requirements.
- Partners with project managers to develop, maintain, and manage technical project work plans and timelines and revises as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Defines and tracks tasks, dependencies, priorities, and milestones, and manages assigned internal resources to completion.
- Ensures teams understand their assignments, due dates, priorities, and budget.
- Interfaces with client brand and IT project stakeholders as needed to facilitate project needs.
- Should have confidence and understanding of when to reach out to other functional areas to keep a project moving along or to check in on progress.
- Shows initiative beyond pure management, organization and implementation and knows when to escalate issues.
- Identify and mitigate risks, proactively addressing project roadblocks.
- Interfaces with external development partners as needed to facilitate project needs.
- Participates in client status meetings and/or presents project plans, as appropriate.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients for technical projects, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices in technical project management.
- Establish and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and solutions.
- Conduct regular project reviews to assess and improve project performance.
- Lead and execute incoming and outgoing data flow setting and transfer.
- Monitor and engage in Target List updates and new Media program launches regarding data.
- Maintain internal data documentation.
- Lead and manage internal data kick-off meetings.
Qualifications - Minimum 5-7 experience in a technical project management role, with a focus in technical development implementations.
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, with a track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects.
- Well versed with SFTP, Google Analytics tagging and integration, API's, file formats, Database development, Tableau dashboards, integrations, and HTML.
- Proven experience successfully implementing SaaS and/or enterprise software applications.
- Able to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously on time and within budget.
- Working knowledge of pharmaceutical, specialty pharmacy, hub, or related industries.
- Direct experience in consulting for external clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technical projects on time, within budget, and with high client satisfaction..
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including agile, hybrid-agile, and SDLC, with a preference for agile project management frameworks and approaches.
- Knowledge of technical concepts and tools (i.e., machine learning, data analytics, cloud computing).
- Experience participating in the technical solutioning process with the D&T team. A desire to become an SME on their projects and/or the types of technology their projects touch.
- Proficiency in project management software/tools and collaboration platforms. (e.g., Wrike, MS Project, Jira).
