Job Description:
I. General Summary: Write technical materials, such as equipment manuals, appendices, or operating and maintenance instructions. May assist in layout work. Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasksand high impact assignments. Plans and leads major technology assignments. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. May supervise others. Bachelor's Degree with 6-12 years of experience. II. Clearance: Active Secret Federal DoD Clearance. III. Principles, Duties, and Responsibilities:
  • Documents are authored from a technical standpoint.
  • Assist with making documents readable by ensuring grammatical correctness and excellency in formatting.
  • Removes workload from Software Developers, Scrum Masters, and Testers.
  • Follow Agile process to work with Scrum.
  • Write technical documents, edit technical documents.
  • Manage document identifiers from CM.
  • Operates Team Foundation Server to store documents.
  • Create baseline templates for teams to begin technical document work.
  • Coordinate reviews with QA, correct defects if indicated by QA.
  • Coordinate with Information Assurance before deliveries. IV. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Direct Current and Relevant experience with RCAS is highly desirable.
    • Minimum required:
      • Must be a U.S. citizen, with or eligible for a Government security clearance.
      • College degree.
      • Excellent communication skills in English in written and spoken form.
      • Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication skills and work ethic; self-starter.
      • Professional Experience: 4+ years related technical experience.
      • Desired:
        • Technical certifications.
        • Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas.
        • Experience working on unusually complicated problems and providing solutions that are highly creative and ingenious, exhibiting ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness.
        • Periodically develops data which goes beyond existing boundaries of information in the field.
        • Acts independently to expose and resolve problems.
