As the Senior Technology Manager, you'll be a key player in our growth journey, overseeing technology initiatives and shaping the future of EdTech at a nationally recognized nonprofit organization.Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Innovation: Collaborate closely with leadership to drive market share, ensure product excellence, and lead technology initiatives.
- Functional Oversight: Provide strategic guidance in Operations, Data Structure, and Technology areas.
- Performance Metrics: Coordinate efforts to track, measure, and report on KPIs for projects, programs, and organization-wide initiatives.
- Vendor Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with vendors and partners nationwide.
- Operational Excellence: Streamline operations, systems, and internal processes to foster excellence and support organizational growth.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to organizational strategic planning and technology implementation.
- Technology Expertise: Stay updated on trends in Fintech, EdTech, data analytics, and game development to inform strategic decisions.
Qualifications:The ideal candidate for this role is a seasoned leader with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (advanced degree preferred).
- Experience: 6-8 years of progressively responsible leadership and project management roles. Experience in game development is required.
- Full-Stack Proficiency: Experience in web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Web Technologies: Familiarity with Drupal for content management required; familiarity with React for dynamic web applications preferred.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python, with exposure to C#, C++, and Java.
- Content Management Systems (CMS): Expertise in Drupal.
- Tech Ecosystem Knowledge: Familiarity with essential software and tools commonly used in the tech industry.
- Version Control: Experience with version control systems like Git for efficient collaborative development.
- Agile Methodologies: Understanding of Agile practices and tools for streamlined project management.
- Collaboration Platforms: Proficiency in using collaboration platforms and communication tools for effective team coordination.
- Troubleshooting Tools: Ability to use diagnostic and troubleshooting tools to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
