Abacus Business Computer (ABCPOS) is a leading point-of-sale (POS) systems company based in New York City. With over 30 years in the industry, ABCPOS provides one-stop solutions from POS systems to merchant services to growth marketing.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior UIUX professional. The Senior UIUX professional will be responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces and experiences for ABCPOS's suite of products. This includes conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities:

- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with other stakeholders

- Illustrate design concepts using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps

- Develop UI mockups and prototypes using Figma that clearly illustrate how sites and application function and look like by leverage design standard across web, mobile, tablet, and kiosk

- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and etc.)

- Prepare and present design to internal teams and key stakeholders

- Conduct user visits and interviews to identify and troubleshoot UX problems

- Make design adjustments based on user feedback

- Contribute to ABC Design system by applying and improve style standards and design patterns across different platforms

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of user interface design principles and best practices
• Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in the Saas industry is a plus
