Job Description:

The Senior Business and Product Manager will be accountable for the execution of Risk Technology Strategy and Risk Strategy within Functions Technology Enterprise Risk Technology (ERT). The Senior Business and Product Manager will be responsible for supporting and representing Enterprise Risk Technology in executive forums, program governance forums, helping to drive and coordinate strategy and key initiatives across ERM, CIO and Risk Technology. In addition, this role will be responsible for the daily operation and executive reporting, managing multiple priorities on a daily basis and must be able to respond quickly on time-sensitive deliverables. This role will require an individual with a substantial level of understanding of Risk Management, Technology Strategy, Financials and Program Management. The ideal candidate should have sound judgment, exceptional stakeholder management, a can-do attitude, results-focused, flawless communication and influencing skills at all levels, and a strong focus on excellence in execution and delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare executive reporting and presentations for risk technology for risk client, program office, technology leadership and stakeholders and board engagements, such as materials for town halls, monthly Leadership meetings, regulatory meetings, and internal offsites.
  • Take the lead on the preparation of materials for senior management and stakeholders, ensuring robust and complete content for the appropriate audience and purpose.
  • Partner with Global Risk leadership to progress Risk and ERM strategic priorities.
  • Provide oversight on Risk and ERM initiatives from strategy formation and planning to execution and implementation; track metrics and scorecards on a regular basis ensuring execution is aligned against strategy and targets, highlighting and managing risks and issues appropriately.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to align on best practices and continue to refine processes to support ongoing business management activities and increase efficiency.
  • Drive administrative, operational, reporting and quality improvements through partnership with internal teams.
  • Engage in cost management activities, such as validating spending and cost saving initiatives, monitoring savings initiatives and expenses, as well as monitoring consistency between financial information, productivity information and HR reports.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize costs, propose initiatives and lead creation of expense plans in partnership with internal functions and teams.
  • Manage and drive the process to set up a continuous cycle of organization/operating model reviews to shape the local organization model.
  • Provide leadership and promote business ties with internal and external senior leaders/clients across key businesses, regions and support functions.
  • Ability to adjust, lead and execute ad hoc initiatives and technology projects.
  • Qualifications:
  • 10-12 years of experience in global and complex settings with multiple stakeholders ideally in the banking sector.
  • Strong leadership/executive presence with strong oral and written communication skills, including proven experience in developing senior executive presentations, communications, and concise updates/talking points.
  • Openness to challenge and continuously challenging the status quo.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex concepts in a concise manner.
  • Ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, highly matrixed, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to garner support and secure buy-in across a wide range of stakeholders and to create a strong network of relationships among peers, internal partners, external constituencies, and decision makers.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and with limited supervision.
  • Quick learner, with ability to understand complex requirements and translate into clear and simple guidance.
  • Self-motivated, highly adaptive, and able to work well under high stress.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task a wide range of issues, and manage to deadlines, often on short notice.
  • Strong work ethic: positive attitude and willingness to learn and jump into various projects/flexibility to pick up work quickly when and where needed.
  • Adeptness at quickly synthesizing and distilling complex information; ability to problem solve.
  • Strategic and project management capabilities coupled with strong analytical and financial acumen.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written; very good presentation and PowerPoint skills are a must.
  • Ability to manage by influencing people at different levels of the organization.
  • Need to build a close and trusting relationship with Global Risk Management, Global Technology and Global Partners.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; highly organized; close attention to detail.
  • Discretion and sound judgment.
  • Flexibility with work schedule as projects come up, including traveling for business as needed.

    $163,600.00 - $245,400.00
