This role is a hybrid work schedule (3 days a week in office) located out of our New York City, NY or Pittsburgh, PA office.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
  • Works independently as part of the Default Administration Group (DAG).
  • Works on an assigned book of deals that are in pre-default, default, or bankruptcy status to mitigate risk.
  • Works with large, complex external clients, investors, and law firms to resolve the most critical and complex issues and direct them to appropriate resources at BNY as needed.
  • May serve as subject matter experts on BNY products, services, document interpretation, and process improvements.

  • Supports multiple, and the most complex client accounts whose partnership with BNY may have a broad & significant impact on the business, while resolving the most critical and complex or non-routine client issues or inquires, as needed.
  • Uses advanced problem solving skills, judgement, and extensive experience to analyze client issues and needs to lead business development efforts.
  • No direct reports, but will provide guidance to junior team members and help find resolutions and to support process improvements.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent .
  • 7+ years of work experience, preferably in document review, loan workouts, bankruptcy management, and/or a legal capacity.
  • Extensive knowledge of governing documents for all Corporate Trust products.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Able to effectively communicate across the organization, both horizontally and vertically.

The base salary for this position is expected to be between $100,000 and $186,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
