You will guide strategic marketplace insights, foster collaboration, and ensure alignment between investment strategies and client goals. As the main client lead, the SVP works with senior leadership to shape the future of investment strategy and develop marketplace partnerships. You will report directly to the EVP, Investment Marketplace.This is a hybrid role, requiring three days in-office each week. - Lead collaboration across teams, ensuring alignment between investment strategies, marketplace insights, and client goals.
- Contribute to the agency's investment strategy and inspire creativity in media buying and investment management.
- Stay ahead of marketplace trends and new technologies, providing senior-level recommendations that inspire client success and agency growth.
- Represent the agency's investment capabilities at industry events, forums, and client meetings, solidifying PHM's leadership in the marketplace.Marketplace Oversight
- Marketplace Intelligence: Oversee and integrate comprehensive marketplace insights, including new trends and partnership opportunities, into client strategies. Influence the channel mix process and enhance the value of marketplace trends for clients.
- Investment Products & Solutions: Cultivate strategic relationships with PMX and PHM Product Labs to ensure investment products align with client needs and identify gaps in offerings.
- Joint Business Plans (JBP): Lead the creation and management of client JBPs, ensuring value and measurable outcomes through marketplace partnerships.
- Partnership Development: Foster and strengthen high-level partnerships with marketplace entities, ensuring clients receive cost-effective investment solutions.Investment Management
- Ensure adherence to and improvement of the Investment Management Process, including buying, monitoring, reconciling, and closing investment deals.
- Provide fiscal leadership by managing all client investments in the marketplace, ensuring accurate financial documentation and operational efficiency.
- Champion investment safety and crisis management, leading teams in navigating and mitigating adverse marketplace events.
- Maximize marketplace value by guiding teams in extracting the best opportunities from client partnerships and delivering measurable results.Team Leadership and Development
- Be an important mentor for investment teams, providing guidance, setting clear goals, and promoting an environment of growth and collaboration.
- Oversee team staffing, talent development, and operational effectiveness to ensure team members have the support needed to succeed.
- Escalate issues as needed, addressing challenges and ensuring a smooth operation across all accounts.
- Contribute to new business efforts by using senior relationships and marketplace insights to secure new clients and enhance the agency's reputation in the marketplace.Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with leadership across teams, including strategy, analytics, and client services, to provide an integrated approach to investment management.
- Contribute to agency-wide initiatives, including strategic workstreams and thought leadership forums, to enhance the agency's investment offering and innovation.
- Lead internal and external presentations to ensure the team is aligned on goals, priorities, and success metrics across all teams.
- Foster collaboration with Groupe-level partners to ensure the best resources and solutions are available to clients.Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in media planning, buying, or investment strategy, with leadership in cross-functional teams.
- 7+ years of people management experience, leading large teams across multiple accounts and disciplines.
- Experience managing external partner and client relationships, and delivering client success.
- Experience working in Healthcare, DTC, or Pharma.
- Knowledge of the marketplace, including digital, print, audio, video, social, search, and programmatic channels.Compensation and BenefitsPublicis Groupe provides inclusive benefit programs and policies to support the evolving and diverse needs of our talent and allow every person to grow. Compensation Range: $164,500 - $228,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the qualifications of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and we reserve the right to modify this pay range at any time.
