Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance - Acquisitions and Integrations

Our client is a mid-sized private equity firm based in Midtown Manhattan, NYC with a diverse portfolio of well-established global brands across various industries. They are seeking an experienced finance leader to drive strategic financial initiatives, ensuring strong financial performance, supporting growth efforts, and maximizing shareholder value. This role offers the opportunity to shape financial strategy and lead complex business transactions in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Shape and implement financial strategies that align with the company's growth objectives and operational goals.
  • Provide financial leadership and insights to senior executives, including the CEO, CFO, and board members.
  • Lead the development of forecasts, budgets, and financial plans, ensuring timely reporting to guide business decisions.
  • Partner with internal teams and external advisors to identify and assess acquisition opportunities, conducting due diligence, valuations, and post-deal integrations .
  • Manage capital structure, exploring and optimizing funding options to support ongoing business expansion.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, cultivating a collaborative culture focused on achieving business goals.
  • Communicate financial strategies and performance to key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and analysts.
  • Develop and implement risk management processes to address market, credit, and operational risks.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in corporate finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Strong expertise in financial planning, capital management, and risk mitigation.
  • Demonstrated success in leading acquisitions and managing complex transactions.
  • Skilled in financial modeling and strategic analysis with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Hands-on leadership style, able to develop and retain top financial talent.
  • Experience in brand management, licensing, or consumer industries is preferred.
  • Agile and adaptable, with the ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong business judgment and a focus on achieving tangible results.
