About Us:

We are a leading Third-Party Logistics (3PL) company seeking an experienced Senior Vice President of Operations to join our executive team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics operations, technology, and leadership.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a strategic and tactical leader to oversee our operations across multiple locations. The Senior VP of Operations will be responsible for driving operational excellence, implementing process improvements, and leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute operational strategies to achieve business objectives

- Lead and manage operations teams across multiple locations

- Implement and optimize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other logistics technology

- Analyze operational metrics and implement data-driven improvements

- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation

- Foster strong relationships with customers, vendors, and stakeholders

- Identify and mitigate operational risks

- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge

- Manage, train, and delegate tasks to operations teams

Requirements:

- 10+ years of experience in logistics operations, preferably in a 3PL environment

- Proven track record of success in managing large-scale operations

- Strong knowledge of WMS and logistics technology

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

- Ability to analyze complex operational data and drive process improvements

- Experience with performance metrics and benchmarking

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field

- MBA or advanced degree preferred

- Six Sigma certification or equivalent process improvement experience

- Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and global trade management (GTM)

- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance
