WSP is currently initiating a search for a Senior Vice President - Property & Buildings for our Boston, MA office. The following locations will also be considered: Portland, ME; Glastonbury/Hartford, CT. Be involved in projects with our New England Property and Buildings Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our clients' objectives and solves their challenges.
Provides leadership in WSP's Property and Buildings business as a Senior Vice President for the New England market, in collaboration with other business lines in the district and region including: Transportation, Environmental, Energy, Water, Planning, and Climate, Resiliency and Sustainability, as well as working with our partners in Operations and the Marketing team. This role is focused on cultivating business with our clients across the district, focusing on New England with an emphasis on growth. The ideal candidate can position themselves as the premier provider of MEP systems and structural engineering on teams developing the premiere commercial, multifamily, healthcare, science & technology, higher education, and specialty development projects throughout the region. This role partners with the District Business Line Leader to advance WSP's Property and Buildings practice throughout the region.

Your Impact
Key performance indicators include Revenue, Funding (project wins), EBITDA, Organic Growth, DSO, and Utilization.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Externally focused on business development, client outreach and pursuit management.
* Develops relationships with clients and identifying and managing a pipeline of opportunities.
* Develops and leads strategy in New England and the surrounding area, the sky is the limit.
* Develops, reviews and approves proposals, projects and contracts.
* Leads and delivers projects as required.
* Develops, coaches, trains and values our people.
* Develops strategic plans and proposal budgets. Identifies key investments needed to grow the Property and Buildings practice in the local area.
* Responsible for overseeing the implementation of process changes
* Funnels information and communicates with the Marketing Team and Operations Team.
* Oversees pricing development, risk analysis, and go/no go process as appropriate during proposal and scoping phases
* Supports month end financial close and review meetings.
* Resources projects, and coordinates with other offices and business lines for intercompany work.
* Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
* Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Who You Are
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or closely related discipline.
* 15+ years of relevant post education experience in engineering, mechanical, and infrastructure design in the A/E/C industry.
* Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
* Advanced proficiency with mechanical engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, standard of care, and the application to permitting and project work-related issues.
* Extensive advanced proficiency with building and infrastructure design.
* Advanced knowledge of relevant mechanical engineering and construction laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements, and the business impact upon the organization.
* Demonstrated ability with establishing, implementing, and managing multiple larger-scale discipline-related programs, documents, projects, and practices for a line(s) of business.
* Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to manage staff, and effectively, persuasively, and tactfully interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
* Strategic lateral thinking and strong analytical skills with attention to detail and prioritization of responsibilities in a pressure work environment.
* Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including senior management, clients, and company-wide staff, including those with whom no formal hierarchical relationship exits.
* Strong ability to quickly adapt to change and demonstrate flexibility to a variety of schedules and hours to meet business needs.
* Advanced knowledge and proficiency with office automation, load calculations, discipline-specific design software, technology, math principles, predictive models, spreadsheets, and tools used in the corporate environment.
* Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
* Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.
