Summary: As a Senior Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible in leading and optimizing operations across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing warehouse managers, ensuring efficient processes, and driving continuous improvement in inventory management, logistics, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities: - Leadership & Management: Supervise and mentor warehouse managers across multiple sites, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure efficient and effective warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to optimize workflow, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control measures, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting of stock levels and discrepancies.
- Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Team Development: Train, motivate, and develop warehouse staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to perform effectively.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with safety regulations and conducting regular safety training.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment on operational goals and support company initiatives.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory status, and operational issues for senior management review.
- Travel: Occasionally travel to Maryland & Illinois warehouse locations for oversight, training and support.
Qualifications: - Proven experience 10 years warehouse management, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Experience in the events industry or similar fast paced industry preferred.
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
- Proficient in warehouse management systems and other relevant technology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
