The qualified applicant will support a NAVAIR Program Office based at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland. This candidate will require an understanding of strategic guidance, operational scenarios, and warfighting concepts to support the PMA in platform development and integration. The applicant must have a technical depth and breadth of USN air and surface capabilities (to include Unmanned Aircraft Systems), an awareness of industry capabilities and best practices, and be capable of translating USN capabilities into the joint context to allow for joint integration. The applicant should be able to understand complex analysis to create a cohesive, integrated Force Design at multiple classification levels on a recurring basis. Requirements Specific duties and responsibilities include: •Provide warfighting assessments and effectiveness analysis of kill chains in an operational context including campaign, mission, engagement, and force structure analysis at various levels of fidelity in support of concept refinement and to determine Naval warfighting capability and capacity required to address threats of the future. •Conduct analysis to support investment priorities. •Monitor and articulate Defense Planning Scenarios. •Support innovative ways to employ platform capabilities in support of USN and joint warfighting concepts. •Provide liaison with OPNAV, resource sponsors, requirements/action officers, fleet weapons schools, and Test & Evaluation Subject Matter Experts to ensure validation of guidance, tasking, and product endorsement. Requirements: •US citizen with active Top Secret clearance. •Bachelor's Degree in Business, Science, Engineering or technical field. •Minimum of 8 years of recent and relevant experience in warfare integration analysis, to include at least one year of Unmanned Aircraft Systems experience, supporting pre-acquisition, acquisition, and sustainment within the Naval acquisition process. •Ability to quickly create decision quality materials for senior leaders •Understand complex technical issues and produce recommendations for a wide audience •Apply critical thinking in complex and dynamic organizational environments Desired Qualifications: •Experience with CONOPS, CONPLANs •Experience with J3/J6/J8, OPNAV N9, or Service HQ staff •USN /USMC operational aviation platform experience; mission commander qualification desired. •Strong organizational and Project Management skills.
