Overview: Studio McGee is seeking an experienced creative and strategic Senior YouTube Content Producer to concept and produce engaging content for our social media platforms, most notably YouTube under the direction of the Social Media Director. This role focuses on concepting and producing content for YouTube in the form of long-form webisodes, aligning with our brand ethos and driving engagement and growth. Key Responsibilities:
  • Ideate, produce, and direct longform video content for Studio McGee and McGee & Co.'s organic social accounts, with a primary focus on YouTube.
  • Develop and direct video content that drives engagement and growth, aligning with the brand ethos of Studio McGee and McGee & Co.
  • Comfortable and confident in directing talent on set.
  • Use and create on social media daily, making relevant content across all platforms with extraordinary skills in producing, design, video editing, or social media copywriting.
  • Work closely with Creative Director on concepting larger video campaigns for seasonal collections or brand initiatives.
  • Show proficiency in a video editing platform and eagerness to learn and evolve with other efficient and effective ways to create social-first content, including mobile creator apps and in-app editing (e.g., Instagram Story creation, TikTok editing).
Initiatives and Objectives:
  • Ideate reactively and proactively to identify trends and utilize best practices to execute high-performing content.
  • Support all pillars of Studio McGee, Inc. and McGee & Co. in an organized and efficient manner.
  • Develop unique content themes that align with Studio McGee's Signature Aesthetic and establish McGee & Co. as a trusted authority in the design industry.
  • Incorporate more real-time, underproduced content.
  • Identify and implement monetization strategies across all social media channels, establishing brands as social shopping destinations.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience concepting and directing video content.
  • Ability to direct talent on set.
  • Strong copywriting skills needed.
  • Strong video editing skills and a passion for creating engaging video content.
  • Excellent understanding of social media trends and platform-specific best practices.
  • Experience with brand management and aligning content with brand ethos.
  • Ability to think creatively and experiment with new content ideas.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Videography or design education OR equivalent relevant experience; all applicants will be asked to provide recent content examples from social media accounts.
  • Curious, responsible, accountable, and deeply passionate about personal interests and hobbies.
