WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Research topics related to staffing, job search, resume & interview tips, etc. to create engaging content for articles, blogs, and resource guides for our Hiring Manager audience.
• Create well-positioned blog articles and resource guides that drive interest and engagement.
• Conduct keyword research to ensure optimal SEO reach with key website content.
• Assist the marketing team by proofreading and contributing to campaign content to ensure maximum SEO value.
• Assess user feedback—written and observed—and translate into recommendations to drive site and campaign content improvements.
• Identify new opportunities to reach potential customers by recommending new content to address gaps.
ABOUT THIS ROLE We are looking for a highly motivated candidate that will be responsible for identifying and driving opportunities to optimize website SEO performance through content creation and optimization.
This candidate must have a proven track record of writing engaging content (e.g. blog posts, infographics, video scripting, email copy, News page articles, or website copy) as well as knowledge of SEO best practices.
In addition to regular content creation and publishing, the candidate will also play an essential role in ensuring website content is positioned effectively to drive optimal SEO performance via inbound traffic sources.
This role is part of our content team and will work collaboratively to ensure content is creative, original, and on brand. They should be comfortable not only with content creation but also with marketing the content they help create—the vision to help develop and support content marketing campaigns.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
• 1-3 years of copywriting experience.
• Experience with keyword research and editing content including experience with SEO tools (e.g. SEMrush, Moz, BrightEdge).
• Experience and working knowledge in content management systems (WordPress preferred).
• Ability to communicate effectively with different audiences, including senior leadership; demonstrated ability to influence others and get buy in.
• Excellent interpersonal, business management, and developmental skills.
• Self-sufficient, able to manage workload to meet project deadlines, especially multi-task in a fast-paced environment and to make trade-offs when needed to optimize outcome.
• Market research and digital marketing experience a plus.
