Position Overview: As a Certus SEO specialist you will be responsible for assisting SEO/SEM Managers in planning and implementing the company's overall strategy and day to day operations for Search Engine Optimization. This includes but not limited to competitive research, web analytics, technical SEO audits and fixes, content creation, keyword strategy, and link building. Responsibilities:
  • Works with SEO manager to support and implement overarching SEO strategies and best practices across portfolio of brands
  • Assists in overall optimization and ROI maximization through effective on-page and off-page initiatives.
  • Develops and implements initiatives for SEO content opportunities and link-building strategies
  • Regularly performs thorough keywords research
  • Monitors KPIs and search traffic trends
  • Assists with analysis on Organic traffic and revenue
  • Collaborates with leadership, marketing team, web developers and other cross-functional teams on SEO goals
  • Performs audits and pinpoints deficiencies and implements solutions in a timely manner
  • Keeps abreast of the latest SEO and digital marketing trends and best practices
Competencies Required:
  • 2+ years of SEO experience
  • Certifications or proven experience using web analytics such as GA4, SEO tools and platforms to manage projects and reporting.
  • Translates SEO optimizations into meeting business objectives.
  • Ability to successfully collaborate on SEO projects to completion.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and brands to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong work ethic involving proactive communication to stay on top of SEO optimization needs that will support organic growth.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Strong Analytical Skills and Proficiency in SEO Tools such as SEMRush, Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, Screaming Frog.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Keen Interest in AI Technologies.
Preferred Skills:
  • Proficiency in SEO Tools such as Conductor, BrightEdge, MajesticSEO, LinkResearchTools, Pitchbox, Buzzsumo, Cision, Haro.s
Performance Expectations:
  • Support and suggest priorities and initiatives according to impact across a portfolio of domains
  • Identify SEO projects that contribute to meeting or exceeding business objectives
  • Execute and keep up on foundational SEO best practices as established across the portfolio of domains
