Our client is looking for a data-driven SEO Specialist to lead the development, execution, and optimization of search engine optimization strategies across multiple brands. As the SEO Specialist, you will play a key role in increasing organic visibility, driving traffic, and improving search rankings for both B2C and B2B audiences. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure content and technical SEO best practices are consistently implemented, helping our client reach its growth and lead generation goals.
Key Responsibilities
SEO Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and meet business objectives.
- Conduct detailed keyword research to identify target keywords and search queries for content creation.
- Collaborate with the Senior Content Strategist and Content Writers to optimize new and existing content for SEO, ensuring alignment with overall content strategy.
On-Page & Technical SEO Optimization:
- Implement on-page SEO improvements, including keyword optimization, meta tags, internal linking, and URL structure.
- Identify and resolve technical SEO issues such as site speed, crawl errors, indexing issues, and mobile optimization.
- Work closely with the Web Development Team to ensure that technical SEO best practices are followed during website development and redesign projects.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze SEO performance metrics (organic traffic, search rankings, click-through rates, etc.) using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
- Create and present regular SEO performance reports, providing actionable insights and recommendations to improve rankings and traffic.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and algorithm changes, making adjustments to the SEO strategy as needed.
Local SEO:
- Implement local SEO strategies to improve visibility for our client various brands in specific geographic markets.
- Optimize Google Business Profiles and other local listings to ensure accuracy and consistency in NAP (Name, Address, Phone) data.
- Collaborate with Brand Leaders to ensure local SEO efforts align with business needs and local marketing strategies.
Competitor & Industry Analysis:
- Conduct regular SEO audits and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth.
- Track and analyze competitors' SEO strategies to identify areas for improvement and ensure our client remains competitive in organic search.
Collaboration & Team Support:
- Work closely with the Paid Media Team to ensure cohesive messaging and campaign alignment between organic and paid search efforts.
- Collaborate with the Content and Creative Teams to ensure all content is optimized for search engines and follows SEO best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, IT, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of improving organic search rankings and driving traffic.
- Deep understanding of SEO best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and technical SEO.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) and basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for troubleshooting SEO issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with both B2B and B2C brands, especially in home services or related industries.
- Familiarity with local SEO strategies and tools such as BrightLocal or Yext.
- Experience with multi-location SEO and managing Google Business Profiles for multiple locations.
- Knowledge of SEO automation tools and AI-driven platforms.
