Duties and Responsibilities: A Server Administrator Consultant is responsible for managing and maintaining the server infrastructure for WNC. The primary job duties and expectations include:
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining servers and their associated hardware and software. This involves ensuring that servers are up-to-date with the latest patches and updates, as well as monitoring their performance and ensuring they are running efficiently.
  • Monitor server performance and taking necessary steps to optimize server performance. This may include configuring resource utilization. memory management, and disk space management.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve server issues that may arise, such as server crashes, network connectivity problems, and other related issues. This requires an in-depth understanding of server operating systems, hardwarde, and software.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and other stakeholders, including resolving issues related to software applications and server connectivity issues.
  • Ensuring server security by implementing security measures such as intrusion detection and anti-virus software.
  • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of a server failure or other disaster.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in server administration and ensure that the organization's server infrastructure is aligned with industry standards.
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and three years of related professional experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's degree.Hourly Wage: $60 an hourExempt NoFull-Time Equivalent25.0%Required Attachment(s)
