Job Description
A Server coordinates the entire service station and communicates with front of the house and back of the house personnel to provide a dining experience that exceeds guest expectations. Reports to the Restaurant Manager.
* Greets guests and presents them with the menu
* Informs guests of specials, menu changes, answers questions regarding food, beverages and allergies
* Receives food and beverage orders from guests and relays to kitchen staff and bartender using a POS system
* Communicates with the hosts, table support team, kitchen staff and bartenders to coordinate stations
* Presents, opens and pours wine and beer when serving guests
* Assists table support team with stocking work stations, removing and resetting used dishes/silverware
* Assists with cash register at counter-service restaurants
* Performs other duties as required or assigned
