Job Summary:Servers at Marriott are responsible for providing high-quality service to guests in the hotel's dining areas, ensuring a satisfying dining experience. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Greet guests and present them with menus and daily specials.- Take food and beverage orders and relay them accurately to the kitchen and bar staff.- Serve food and drinks, and ensure guests have everything they need.- Check on guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and beverages.- Clear tables throughout the dining experience and provide dessert menus and coffee.- Process payment transactions and thank guests as they leave.- Maintain cleanliness and mise en place of work areas and tables.
Qualifications:- Previous serving experience preferred, especially in a hotel or fine dining setting.- Knowledge of food service regulations and best practices.- Friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine desire to provide hospitality.- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with guests and team members.
