The Shore and Country Club, a family-oriented club, is seeking motivated and enthusiastic leaders to join our food and beverage team as Servers! Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Setup side station and performs assigned side (prep) work.
- Provides immediate attention to all members and guests upon seating.
- Distributes food, wine, and cocktail menus and answers questions.
- Ensure that the correct account numbers and names are given for billing.
- Efficiently serves food and drinks in a friendly and courteous manner and offers daily specials and wine selections suggestions.
- Places orders with the kitchen; informs cooks about any special cooking instructions.
- Checks back to ensure member and guest satisfaction.
- Keeps areas neat and organized.
- Performs opening and closing tasks as assigned by the manager.
- Attends pre- and post-meal meetings.
- Performs other appropriate tasks as necessary.
Candidate Qualifications
- Previous serving experience preferred.
- A team player who is service-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Professional, enthusiastic, and a positive attitude.
- Proactive in individual and group task settings.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to work flexible schedules, weekends, and holidays.
- Punctual and reliable.
- While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for extended periods of time, use hands and fingers, reach, climb, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
