If you like winning the day and delivering food orders from the kitchen to guests' tables rapidly, accurately and with a warm smile, we are looking for you! You will be the point of contact between front of the house and back of the house staff. Hours are usually 3:30-11pm
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Performs any necessary pre-shift side work.
* Reviews the menu and becomes thoroughly familiar with all items and means of preparation being offered that day.
* Ensures station is properly set up and cleaned.
* Greets guests upon being seated, explains the menu and speaks about specials.
* Takes guests' cocktail and food orders, answering all menu questions, making helpful suggestions, and citing a favorite item.
* Inputs beverage orders and food orders into the POS in a timely manner noting all special instructions thoroughly.
* Keeps proper communication with server assistants and the expo to ensure proper timing of steps of service and food delivery.
* Anticipates guests' needs.
* Practices clean as you go techniques of service, including refolding napkins, cleaning between courses, and keeping the station clean, neat, and supplied always.
* Closes all guest checks in a timely manner, ensuring all checks are properly signed and printed.
* Ability to read and understand banquet event orders.
* Set up and breakdown of private meal functions including a la carte, family style and buffet.
* Maintenance of breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets ensuring all equipment is kept clean and food presentation is eye-pleasing.
* Completes assigned closing side work and resets for the next meal function.

Qualifications
* Ability to listen to directions
* Able to stand on your feet for at least 8 hours
* Ability to remain calm under stressful situations
* Knowledge of food safety.
* Experience in a full-service restaurant desired
* Good communication skills
* Flexible schedule
