AM / PM Servers - New French Brasserie, Grand Central Station

We are seeking experienced and passionate servers to launch our bustling 400-seat French brasserie located in Grand Central Station. Our restaurant offers French cuisine and a vibrant dining atmosphere across breakfast, lunch, and dinner services.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional dining experiences for our guests with warm, attentive, and professional service
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Utilize salesmanship techniques to suggest menu items, wine pairings, and specials
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our French menu, daily specials, and wine list
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery
• Handle cash and credit card transactions precisely
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a server in a high-volume restaurant setting
• Excellent knowledge of French cuisine and wine
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Proficiency in POS systems

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds
• Dexterity to handle multiple dishes and trays
