The Woodlands at Canterfield, a brand-new Assisted Living and Memory Support community located in West Dundee, Illinois is looking for a dynamic Server to serve and provide safe, friendly and hospitable service to the residents.

Position Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for promoting the dignity, independance, self-determination, privacy choice, and rights of the residents at the community. This role involves serving residents' meals in the Dining Room.

Essential Functions, Key Duties, & Responsibilities

• Taking orders, serve, clear dishes for residents and guests
• Deliver room service trays
• Serve using proper serving etiquette
• Reset tables after each meal
• Assist with dishwashing and restocking of clean dishes
• Build positive relationships with residents, associates and co-workers

Position Requirement

Education: High School Diploma/GED

Experience: Serving experience in senior care preferred

Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to demonstrate patience and compassion in working with elderly
