This is personal for us.POSITION OVERVIEWWe are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Servers. The ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic. As a Server at Molly's Bar and Grill, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction, driving sales, and maintaining the high standards of service that our guests expect.Responsibilities:Customer Satisfaction:
  • Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and provide personalized recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Anticipate guests' needs and proactively address any requests or concerns to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, fostering a welcoming atmosphere and building rapport.
Sales and Revenue:
  • Promote menu items, specials, and promotions to guests and upsell additional items to enhance their dining experience.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate preparation and delivery of orders.
  • Monitor table turnover and maximize sales opportunities by providing attentive service and suggestive selling techniques.
  • Work towards achieving or exceeding sales targets and contributing to the overall financial success of the restaurant.
Speed and Efficiency:
  • Efficiently manage multiple tables and prioritize tasks to ensure timely service during busy periods.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate order timing and minimize wait times for guests.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including resetting tables and restocking supplies as needed.
  • Demonstrate agility and adaptability in responding to changing guest needs and service demands.
Inventory Management:
  • Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage items and communicate shortages or discrepancies to management.
  • Properly handle and store perishable items to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
  • Adhere to portion control guidelines and minimize over-ordering to optimize inventory management and control costs.
Safety and Compliance:
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling and storage of food items.
  • Follow established procedures for responsible alcohol service and ensure compliance with legal drinking age regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including clearing tables and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Complete required training programs related to safety, hygiene, and restaurant policies.
Team Collaboration:
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support each other to deliver seamless service and exceed guest expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to relay order details and ensure accurate preparation and presentation of dishes.
  • Assist teammates during busy periods and demonstrate a willingness to help wherever needed to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:
  • 21+ years of age or older
  • Previous experience as a Server or in a customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of menu items and ability to provide accurate descriptions and recommendations to guests.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
