Each server's primary objective is to show our guests such a marvelous time, they will want to return again and again. Fundamental Requirements:•Employees must at all times be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees.•Process guests' checks, collect cash and process credit cards and room charges according to standards.•Perform opening and closing side work according to standards to ensure that guests are served promptly and efficiently.•Prepare beverages and cocktails according to the standards, for mixing, portion control and presentation.•Serve guests with all food and beverage requirements in a warm, friendly, courteous, and professional manner.•Be familiar with the POS system.•Carry out cashiering functions by closing checks and servicing the guest.•Follow all state liquor laws.•Follow prescribed procedures in serving liquor with care to avoid problems with intoxicated guests, and when necessary report to management.•Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment. •Maintain clean service areas.•Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.•Always clear all empty dishes from the table before dropping the final bill.•Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change (if applicable).•Ensure overall guest satisfaction.QualificationsQualifications•High School diploma or equivalent.•2 years bartending experience at a luxury hotel or restaurant.•Proficient knowledge of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks.   • Flexible and long hours are sometimes required.
  • Heavy work - Exerting up to 50- 75 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
  • Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
  • Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
  • Exposure to temperatures: < 32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators), >90 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Ability to work in a wet and hot/cold environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters, knives, and other heavy machinery.
