Job Description:

The Service Salesperson helps customers with the maintenance and repair of their vehicle. He/she writes repair orders in accordance with the Bureau of Automotive Regulations and Manufacture guidelines and follows up with customers with progress reports, informing customers of needed repairs and presenting the value of preventative maintenance. When service is complete, the Service Salesperson provides the customer with a complete explanation of charges and work performed as well as the future needs of the vehicle.

The ideal candidate has some sales or customer service experience, a valid driver's license, and good computer skills. Candidates must be able to work productively in a fast-paced team environment and must have a positive attitude, professional appearance, great communication skills, and the ability to deliver world class customer service.

Responsibilities

* Clearly communicates customer needs to the technical staff

* Presents needed repairs and value of doing so

* Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction

* Follows Bureau of Automotive Repair Regulations

* Follows Manufacture guidelines and warranty rules

* Maintains up to date knowledge of all products and warranty coverages

* Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

* Sales or customer service experience

* Must be computer literate

* Available to work Monday through Saturday

* Dedicated to excellence

* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

* Valid driver's license

The Service Advisor has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $16.00. The position may also pay commission compensation which is based on the value or amount of gross profit achieved from $0.00 (if base level is not achieved are made) without any upper limit other than sales performance. The position also may also pay a CSI bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.
