Job Purpose
Under the direction of the Service Manager, the Service Advisor is responsible for serving as a liaison between the customer and technicians - which involves providing a high level of communication with customers and co-workers, providing superior customer service, scheduling repairs, assigning work to technicians, preparing repair orders, billing repair orders, entering work orders into the computer system, and other duties as assigned.
Pay: $55,000 - $80,000/year (Based on Experience)
Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:30pm - 11:30pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Process all shop repair orders by scheduling & assigning work to shop Associates.
* Document and diagnose necessary repairs by taking photographs.
* Provide effective communication to customers regarding their job orders by preparing estimates for repair work and parts; monitor job schedules to ensure timeliness of repairs and job pricing.
* Work closely with customers and insurance companies to obtain necessary authorization and documentation relating to repair work.
* Complete invoicing and collecting procedures in a timely manner.
* Maintain inventory of parts, paint, and materials necessary for repair functions.
* All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Three (3) years of related automotive repair facility or heavy-duty truck experience preferred.
* Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Windows. Must possess demonstrated skills in computer-generated business systems.
* Valid driver's license required; CDL required, or ability to obtain.
* Dependable and reliable attendance required.
