We are looking for a qualified Systems Integrator to provide administrative and break-fix support for mission critical Windows based systems. You will work as part of an experienced team tasked with maintaining and upgrading computer based physical security systems for a government entity located in the NY / NJ metropolitan area.
  • Respond to trouble tickets to ensure application uptime and system performance.
  • Work individually and in teams to diagnose and resolve application issues.
  • Execute preventative maintenance tasks to maximize application availability and identify system faults.
  • Perform routine configuration changes (user permissions, application configuration, etc.).
  • Document all system modifications through a digital change control tracking system.
  • Produce quality technical documentation describing the conceptual and quantitative facets of system deployment, intended for both a technical and non-technical audience.
  • Perform pre-deployment end to end testing of all system modifications and upgrades.
  • Perform on site installations of software upgrades and system modifications.

Minimum Requirements

  • BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or five years' experience with physical security systems.
  • Certification in Lenel OnGuard, Intellicene Symphia VMS, BriefCam, Genetec Security Center, Avigilon Control Center, and / or Vidsys Enterprise.
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows Server and Client environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to write technical documentation tailored to a varied audience
  • Working knowledge of Windows server and client hardware.
  • Working knowledge of network communications and IP addressing.
  • Excellent problem solving, analytic, and time management skills.
  • Ability to pass criminal background check.
