Job Description:
Appolo Heating is an established company with 55 years of experience installing and servicing HVAC equipment. We are looking for a reliable and organized person to support our service and warehouse operations. This role is an important part of our daily operations, and no two days will be the same.DUTIES:Support Service Department by ensuring all parts are pulled, available and/or delivered to the service technicians.Review Service dashboard 2-3 days in advance to know what is needed at the job site and to anticipate what is needed to be ordered or picked up.Create work orders based on follow up notes from tech or CSR/supervisor.Be flexible-to deliver a water heater or some other equipment that was added to the schedule on short-notice.Ensure that all service vehicles are fully stocked at all times. This requires weekly tracking and replenishment of stock used.Research and secure any repair parts that are not available from inventory.Monitor and Replenish truck stock in all Schenectady service vans.Drive and/or assist with warehouse deliveries.Assist with pulling jobs in the warehouse.Restock parts and stock shelves in the warehouse.REQUIREMENTS:2-3 year of experience working in a warehouse; stocking shelves, inventory management or a similar role.Physical requirements include the ability to push, pull and lift 50-75 lbs (a water heater as an example), using a hand cart or other equipment.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and proactivity. Strong computer skills and accuracy with data entry.Familiarity with HVAC equipment/parts would be preferred.General hours are 7:30-4 pm, with occasional later hours, especially during busy seasons or when jobs are added on short-notice.
