Responsibilities:

The function of the Service Assistant is to provide administrative and operational support to the Daltonics Spain Service Team.The primary objective is to play an effective part in improving the Bruker Service Teams efficiency for unrivalled customer support and optimum customer satisfaction.

Working as a member of a team in a busy environment, general duties will include:

  • Acquiring and maintaining a good working knowledge of all technical service administrative support procedures and processes
  • Pro-actively assisting in the maintenance and improvement of existing administrative procedures and processes
  • Sharing of tasks with administrative colleagues as a matter of routine and when situations demand

Other duties, specific to particular operational activities include:

  • Use of spreadsheets, SAP or Salesforce CRM to organise, schedule, record and analyse service agreements related activities
  • General office administration, upkeep of various registers, distribution, collection and collation of miscellaneous documentation within and between departments
  • Service cases dispatch and organize appointments
  • Manage parts lists and parts required for each case
  • Track the use of parts and return of non-used
  • Check and complete cases and service reports before final closing the case
  • Help in the cleanse and maintenance of databases (SAP and Salesforce CRM)
  • Help in the local stock maintenance, picking and delivering of parts

Reporting The position reports to the Daltonics Spain Service Manager, who will agree expectations, allocate resources, and set day-to-day priorities.

Location The position is based at our Madrid office (Rivas Vaciamadrid).

Qualifications:

To carry out the duties to the level expected, the minimum competencies are:

Personal

  • Outgoing and likeable personality with a high degree of personal integrity
  • Confident but pleasant and patient telephone manner
  • Self-motivation and a willingness to work with others toward a shared goal
  • Team player and adaptable to change

Qualifications

  • Higher Technician in Administrative Management or equivalent proven experience
  • Good knowledge of MS Office. Advanced Excel desirable.
  • Fluency in oral and written English, Spanish native speaker

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent communications skills
  • Proven experience in SAP and Salesforce (Service Module)
  • Close co-operation and teamwork with colleagues in service teams and other departments
  • Keyboard competency
  • Well-developed and responsible attitude with an enthusiasm for helping others
