- Service Order Management:
- Review incoming service requests from customers regarding malfunctioning or maintenance needs for vending machines.
- Utilize a service management system to create detailed work orders, including customer information, machine details, service type (repair, maintenance), and estimated completion time.
- Assign work orders to technicians based on their expertise, availability, and location.
- Dispatch and Support:
- Communicate effectively with technicians, providing clear details about work orders, ensuring they have the necessary parts and tools.
- Track technician progress and monitor service calls for any delays or unforeseen issues.
- Assist technicians by researching technical knowledge bases and troubleshooting complex problems.
- Billing and Payments:
- Upon completion of service calls, review technician reports and work order details.
- Utilize accounting software to generate accurate invoices for customers based on service performed and parts used.
- Manage customer accounts and ensure timely payments.
- Track service revenue and generate reports for management review.
- Technician Management:
- Maintain technician schedules and track their availability.
- Process payroll and ensure timely payments to technicians based on completed work orders and established pay rates.
- Maintain technician records, including certifications and training completion.
RequirementsQualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with an associate's degree in business administration or a related field a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in service coordination, logistics, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of scheduling principles, work order management, and basic accounting practices.
