ACRC employs approximately 700 persons working out of eight offices in a ten-county area. ACRC is one of 21 Regional Centers in California.COMPENSATION The below is dependent upon experience and education.
- Service Coordinator I: $24.31 - $28.12/hr.
- Service Coordinator II: $26.80 - $31.01/hr. (must possess 5 years of experience working in a Regional Center as a Service Coordinator)
- Service Coordinator IIIB: $28.52 - $33.01/hr. (must possess a master's degree and 1-year social work experience)
- Service Coordinator IIIA: $31.50 - $36.45/hr. (must a possess a master's degree and 2-years post-masters experience)
The actual amount offered within this range will depend on a variety of factors including skills and abilities, education, experience, and other relevant job-related factors. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.THE POSITION AND JOB SUMMARY ACRC is seeking a Service Coordinator currently assigned to the Sacramento office (please note our Sacramento office location will be moving to Natomas in March 2025). The purpose of the position is to start in the Intake department for a minimum of six (6) months as an out-of-class assignment. After a minimum of six (6) months, ACRC will assess the need to retain this position in the Intake unit or to transition the role into a Service Coordinator position. If ACRC decides to retain the out-of-class assignment position in the Intake unit, then the position will be reclassified as an Intake Specialist. The compensation salary will be set under the Service Coordinator classification level while implementing an out-of-class compensation for the time period served as an Intake Specialist.As an Intake Specialist, the purpose of the position is to assess applicants for eligibility for ACRC services in alignment with ACRC-defined ethical, clinical, practical, and professional standards. This position guides applicants and their families through the Intake process within particular timelines: completes Social Assessment, makes recommendation to the Eligibility Review Team, maintains all relevant records, communicates decision to applicant/their family, and transitions applicant to resources in the community and/or to a Client Services Unit.If ACRC decides to transition the out-of-class assignment to a Service Coordinator role, the purpose of the Service Coordinator position is to provide case management and advocacy for persons with developmental disabilities. Typical duties include assisting clients and their families in acquiring and maintaining assessed supports and services including transportation, vocational training, day programming, education, mental health services, medical care, and independent living training; serving as an advocate for the client with community agencies; consulting with and assisting vendors with certifications, applications, and referrals; participation in the development of Individual Program Plans for clients; monitoring these plans and revising them as necessary; completing all required forms, documentation, and reports in accordance with regulations and ACRC policies and procedures; rotating officer-of-the-day duties with other Service Coordinators; assisting co-workers with special projects, unique problems, vacation, and sick relief; and providing emergency on-call services when required.SUMMARY OF OUTSTANDING BENEFITS ACRC offers an excellent working environment and a benefits package to include:
