Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as a Service Desk and Project Specialist in Glen Allen, Virginia. This role involves joining our team to optimize and maintain the network infrastructure for our clients. You will be instrumental in supporting day-to-day operations, troubleshooting network issues, and enhancing network security and reliability.Responsibilities:- Ensuring optimal performance through regular network monitoring and maintenance tasks.- Providing high-quality technical support to clients using various modes of communication like phone, email, and remote assistance tools.- Collaborating effectively with team members and clients to develop network infrastructure solutions.- Promptly diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving any network issues that arise.- Staying informed and updated about the latest industry trends and emerging technologies related to networking.- Assisting in the planning, design, and implementation of various network projects.- Configuring and installing systems along with networking technology. Requirements - Proficiency in Android Development, showcasing a strong understanding of the platform's software and coding language- In-depth knowledge and practical experience in Cisco Technologies, including the ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues- Demonstrated expertise in Citrix Technologies, including the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Citrix servers and applications- Sound understanding of Computer Hardware, including the ability to assemble, upgrade and repair various types of computer systems- Familiarity with Dell Technologies, including server, storage, and networking solutions- Proficiency in Active Directory, with the ability to manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights- Excellent knowledge of Apple Devices, including troubleshooting, software updates, and device configuration- Proficiency in Backup Technologies, including the ability to implement and manage backup solutions to ensure data integrity- Expertise in Configuration Management, with the ability to maintain and control system components, system configurations, and documentation.
