CornerStone Technology Talent Services (TTS) is seeking a motivated Service Desk Associate I to join our Desktop Engineering team. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals looking to develop and apply their technical knowledge in a supportive environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our infrastructure runs smoothly by providing exceptional consulting services to our users regarding various technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to calls and requests for assistance from users encountering issues with Windows-based desktop and laptop operating systems.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for computer hardware, including identifying issues and resolving them efficiently.
  • Monitor and support applications, ensuring they function properly for our users.
  • Troubleshoot Microsoft Office and Exchange issues to ensure optimum usability.
  • Assist with active directory group policy and security troubleshooting.
  • Perform system imaging utilizing enterprise-level tools to ensure efficient deployment.
  • Offer tier-1 level network and telecommunications support to resolve connectivity and system access issues.
  • Collaborate with team members and escalate issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 6 months of experience working in a 24/7 IT Service Desk or IT Customer Service call center.
  • Availability: Must be available to work any shift, including overnight, weekends, holidays, and on-call as needed.
  • Preferred: Experience with EPIC systems is a plus.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a working knowledge of desktop and laptop operating systems, particularly Windows.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in user-friendly terms.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A collaborative attitude and willingness to learn from peers and senior staff.
