The Service Desk is the team that handles requests and issues from all Choice Hotels employees. Everything from simple password resets to providing access to applications and onboarding new employees. Your Responsibilities
Answer calls from employees needing help with various issues such as:
Password reset
Account Lockout
Application Access
Work tickets to fulfill requests such as:
New employee onboarding
Terminations
Application Access
Create and update documentation for the Service Desk
Your Experience, Skills & Competencies
Superior customer service skills
Experience with Active Directory and/or LDAP
Demonstrated experience with troubleshooting hardware and applications
Experience troubleshooting VPN issues
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Demonstrates key competencies to include Effective Communication, Ensures Accountability and Customer Focus
Your Team
This is an individual contributor role that will report to the Senior Manager, Data Center Operation. You will have 5 peer teammates and collaborate with cross functional departments on a regular basis.
Your Work Location
As our Service Desk Specialist I, you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide corporate headquarters in North Bethesda, MD. Less than 15 miles from Washington, DC, we're located one block away from the North Bethesda Metro station, with service on the red line and MARC Brunswick line, easy access to I-270, and plenty of free parking provided by Choice Hotels.
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $20.00 to $23.00 per hour.
The pay range listed is for this position and is what Choice Hotels reasonably expects to pay. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
