Join our team as a Service Director at a new, dual-concept restaurant in Midtown Manhattan. This exciting project, led by Chef-Owner Sam Yoo, will offer high-quality Korean food to a global clientele.
The restaurant will have two concepts, separated by floors. The ground floor will be an old-school Korean pub with high-quality cocktails and novel bar foods. The basement level will be a Korean raw bar and steakhouse with a Korean American twist.
We are looking for a Service Director to work closely with the General Manager to lead our FOH team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a high-volume restaurant and a strong understanding of Asian and Korean cuisine.
The Service Director will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day restaurant service and FOH team. They will lead staff management, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance. They will also lead the development and implementation of effective FOH systems and protocols.
The compensation package includes a base salary of $80,000-$95,000 (depending on experience) + bonus potential. The position also offers relatively consistent schedule with days off, paid time off, health insurance with company contribution, 401k, and dining discounts.
