Responsibilities:

  • Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries, checking the orders for accuracy by using packing slips and inventory management
  • Maintain the company stockroom through organizing, cleaning, and cataloging items on a regular basis
  • Accuracy and details are important in this role, making sure all product identifiers are correct on packing slips, and in our inventory management system
  • Processes documentation to generate a prompt credit transaction
  • Performs weekly cycle counts and adjusts systems as necessary
  • Develops a program to maintain tight security over the inventory
  • Maintains accurate inventory records to help facilities shortage detection
  • Maintains confidentiality of inventory records to authorized personnel
  • Performs all daily activities necessary to maintain effective inventory management procedures

Education & Skills:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, minimum of 1 - 2 years of inventory control experience, preferably in production manufacturing and/or shipping
  • Ability to lift product up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic PC knowledge with and understanding of Microsoft Word products
  • Experience with data entry, Excel, ERP are strongly preferred
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must possess good interpersonal skills
  • Must be willing and able to work as part of a team
  • Must possess time management skills
  • Possess good conflict resolution skills
  • Detail -oriented and multitasking skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills with spreadsheet and database software etc. (Microsoft Excel)
  • Maintain a driver's license
  • Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack etc., is required

**This is an hourly position & is based on experiences and can be discussed during interview process.**
