**Summary of Duties**

The Service Manager reports to the President and is responsible for managing all work performed in the assigned area. The Service Manager may have Service Technicians, Dispatchers, Administrators and Account Managers as direct reports and is responsible for managing all direct reports and their overhead expenses accordingly.

Passion for customer service, initiative, phone skills, selling skills, tact and integrity are essential to this position. Job related contact can occur virtually with all demographic groups, with the majority of daily contacts being with Maxair employees and both current and prospective customers.

**Duties Include:**

* Managing assigned area to achieve annual revenue, gross margin budgets and operating margin budgets.

* Developing annual revenue, gross margin and operating margin budgets for review and approval.

* Managing all direct reports and recruiting for new hires.

* Participating on Maxair management team.

* Overseeing scheduling of all direct reports.

* Managing key customers by developing and maintaining relationships throughout the customers organization.

* Working with other service team leaders to insure optimal delivery of services to all Maxair customers.

* Working with Maxair account managers to price, win and manage large service projects and preventive maintenance opportunities in assigned area.

* Working with Maxair project managers to price, win and manage large service projects in assigned area.

* Serve as backup to other service team leaders and VP service.

* Approving all invoices generated for assigned area

* Resolving customer concerns and complaints in a timely, efficient and cost effective manner.

* Supporting company efforts to collect on past due accounts receivables.

* Developing and maintaining familiarity with all Maxair offerings.

* Maintaining and improving leadership skills via self-study, seminars, etc.

* Maintaining a liaison with product representatives and local suppliers to stay abreast of product lines, promotions, trends, etc.

**Job Qualifications**

* Bachelors degree in business, marketing, technology or other applicable field

+ Significant technical field experience may substitute for formal degree

* Ability to learn and fully utilize Timberline Service Manager for all account management needs.

* Ability to represent Maxair in front of current and prospective customers.

* Excellent phone, written and interpersonal skills.

* Working knowledge of basic HVAC and plumbing operations and suppliers.

* Ability to work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery at the lowest possible price.

* Fluent with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.

* Current drivers license.

* Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and participate in a drug free workplace.
