Manage staff, coordinate schedules, and maintain inventory accuracy. Strong organizational and communication skills required as Service Manager.Service Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee the workflow from warehouse receipt, shop repair, and ship out to customer
- Supervise repair shop and warehouse teams.
- Coordinate daily activities for production and shipping.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain safety procedures.
- Train and mentor employees, perform quality checks.
- Communicate to office staff to maintain efficiency and help manage lead times with vendors and stay on schedule.
Service Manager Requirements:
- 4-6 years of supervisory experience in maintenance role as supervisor or manager.
- Previous experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical system, and powertrain components, etc. associated with heavy machinery
- Previous diesel engine experience and knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise for Manufacturing a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management and safe work best practices.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
