Summary/Objective Maxair's commercial service plumbing dispatchers are responsible for professionally receiving incoming service calls, dispatching service technicians for these calls, and supporting Maxair's customers. Service plumbing dispatchers also schedule and dispatch for Maxair's preventive maintenance customers and support our technicians with large purchase order generation. Maxair's service plumbing dispatchers also prepare invoice proofs for all time and material work orders and present them for review and processing. In this role, you will develop long-term relationships with our customers, our technicians, and our employees. About Maxair Mechanical Maxair Mechanical is a commercial HVAC, plumbing and controls service provider. We provide both ongoing service and new construction (typically tenant retrofit) throughout greater Atlanta (and a little beyond). You cannot have just one of these, you have to have both. What You Will Do Collaborating closely with our other dispatchers, you will receive incoming calls from our customers and accurately generate work orders in our operations software for these requests. You will then schedule that work with our technicians based on the urgency of the request and the availability of our team. You will also receive calls from our technicians for various reasons and process that information accordingly. On a regular basis, you will generate invoice proofs based on completed time and material work orders. This will include verifying all information is correct and accurate, and consolidating the technician comments into a brief summary. Upon approval of the proof, you will process the invoice and have it delivered either through the mail or electronically. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions: • Receiving and managing all service customer calls. • Coordinating the assignment of service technicians to scheduled work orders and emergency service calls. • Scheduling work orders based on the expected complexity of the call against the capabilities of the available technician. • Tracking and updating the computerized dispatch board based on work order completion. • Managing equipment, special tools, vehicles, and parts needs for the service department. • Maintaining liaison with the service manager and the service accountant on problem accounts receivables. • Working with other department managers and employees in support of all facets of the service department. • Working with other department managers, the president, and the service managers in support of the corporate goals, mission, and vision. • Managing the necessary administrative records and controls to protect the interest of the corporation and the customer, to include prompt and accurate invoicing. • Resolving customer concerns and complaints in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner. • Maximizing the efficient use and allocation of the technician's time. • Perform limited sales support in process of scheduling work for the service department. • Complete special projects as assigned. Pay and Benefits Maxair service dispatchers receive a base salary plus quarterly bonuses based on the overall performance of the service department. Dispatchers receive seven paid holidays and paid time off that escalates with tenure. Maxair pays for our dispatchers' health and dental insurance, and you have the opportunity to purchase the same for your spouse and/or family. Dispatchers also have access to Maxair's 401K program.
