Job Summary:Genesis of Charlotte is seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Service Porter in Matthews, North Carolina. As a Service Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized service department, as well as supporting the overall operations of the dealership. This is a full-time position with competitive salary in the auto industry.Compensation & Benefits:- Competitive salary based on experience- Health, dental, and vision insurance- Paid time off and holiday pay- 401k retirement plan- Opportunities for growth and advancement within the companyResponsibilities:- Maintain a clean and organized service department, including sweeping, mopping, and removing trash- Assist with moving vehicles in and out of service bays- Transport customers to and from the dealership, as needed- Assist service technicians with vehicle repairs and maintenance- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking and topping off fluids- Keep vehicle lot and inventory areas neat and organized- Communicate with customers in a professional and friendly manner- Follow all safety protocols and guidelinesRequirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Prior experience in the automotive industry preferred- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and repairs- Strong communication and customer service skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment- Attention to detail and ability to follow directions- Valid driver's license and clean driving record- Must be able to pass a background check and drug testEEOC Statement:Genesis of Charlotte is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
